Purple Star Designated District

Santa Rosa County is proud to receive the Purple Star District Designation! We are one of five districts that received this designation.

What is the Purple Star District Designation? The Purple Star School District Designation, established by the Florida Legislature, highlights Florida’s commitment to being the most military-friendly state in the nation. This program ensures strong support for military-connected students as they transition to new schools due to a parent’s change in duty station. This designation reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that military-connected students and families feel welcomed, supported, and valued in our school community.
